Before starting a basement finishing project with us.
My basement has had water before. Can it still be finished?
Yes, as long as the cause is fixed first. Depending on the case: French drain, sump pump, crack repair or exterior grading. We never close a wall over a water problem.
Can I add a bedroom in the basement?
Yes, with a code-compliant egress window and enough headroom. If the current window is too small, we enlarge it with a window well.
Which flooring for a basement?
Vinyl plank is our recommendation: stable, moisture-resistant and warm underfoot with an underlay. Tile works for the bathroom.
